Hey folks,
Eric here with a very quick update:
Logan has started drawing the book in earnest, and we couldn't be more pumped.
I went to Bone Clones yesterday to pick up our super-realistic Yorick skulls for the boxes. They look incredible.

If you're ever in Chatsworth, CA, do yourself a favor and call to make an appointment to see the Bone Clones showroom. It's really neat!
Ok, that's about it. If you're one of the 80 or so people who hasn't completed your survey yet, do it now, especially if your likeness is being drawn in the book--though it may take a while to fully illustrate, stragglers may not get a chance to be drawn in! If you still need your survey, reach out to me! I'm going to be locking and charging cards in the next week or so, but if you need to change your order for whatever reason, let me know and we'll work together to sort it out!

Hey FRC,
Eric here with a quick update.
Logan's getting to drawing the first issue within the next few days, and I'm working with some local movie prop fabricators to bring our skull boxes to life! These are going to be so cool, you're going to wish you dropped a grand on it. Truly they will be two-of-a-kind masterpieces and one day they'll be real collectors' items. They'll be like something you'd find on The Bard of Avon's desk! I pick up the skulls on Tuesday, so expect some photos next week!
If you haven't filled out your survey yet, do it ASAP-SVP, especially if you haven't yet sent your reference photos for the "drawn in the book" levels!

Two slight mistakes!

Hey folks,
Some eagle-eyed readers have uncovered the mischief of fairies in our Backerkit survey!
So now all digital rewards are now accounted for on the packing list, where before they were not!
Also, it came to my attention that the message to send your photo reference went out to all of you, rather than just those who paid for it. So I'll be double-checking who got what! If you did pledge to get your likeness drawn in the book, please send your reference in as soon as possible!
Rest assured, you'll be getting everything you paid for!

Hello FRC,
So something wonderful happened a couple days ago--we got paid! (Thanks, everyone!) So in turn, I paid Logan his hard-earned share, and we submitted our BackerKit store for approval. Everything there looks good, so we're doing what's called a "Smoke Test" wherein about 5 percent of backers are getting their surveys right now, just to see if everything is working out. The rest will go out within a week or so. So keep your eyes on that inbox!
Logan will get to drawing soon, so if you're being drawn in the book, follow the instructions on the survey, and in the meantime, I'll start figuring out things like what kind of skull box to commission.

That's it, FRC.
The 10,000 monkeys on 10,000 typewriters are done.
The campaign has finished, but the real work is just beginning. Logan and I are going to take a quick break for the weekend (he's headed to a secluded cabin, and I'm going to the EVO finals in Vegas), but once we're back, we're going full force on this thing for quickness and quality. It's all happening.
I spent the day making our Backerkit store (there's nothing there yet), but once your cards clear in a few weeks, we'll be sending you surveys and you can buy all the merch your heart desires. Want extra books, pins, patches, shirts, socks, etc? They'll all be there for you, just as you have been there for us.
And you haven't heard the last from us, not by a long shot. You're going to be inundated with so many updates in the coming months, you'll be sick of the book by the time it gets to your door.
Also, I didn't mention it before, but apparently someone read our FAQ because in the first few weeks of the campaign, a very kind literary agent came to us with an offer to represent the book. We're fairly confident we can get a publisher on board, so who knows, maybe you'll see No Holds Bard: The First Folio at your favorite reputable bookseller in the near future. If it doesn't work out, we'll self-publish, and in any case, you'll get it first.
